On the afternoon of October 12th, Jingfeng Wang, the dean of the College of Civil Engineering and Water Resources, and Dongpo Wang, the party secretary, along with their delegation, visited our institute for research and exchange. The meeting took place in Room 1009 of the Yifu Building, with members of both leadership teams, department heads, and party branch secretaries in attendance. The meeting was chaired by the dean, Nianwen Xiang.

During the meeting, Nianwen Xiang warmly welcomed the arrival of Jingfeng Wang, Dongpo Wang, and their delegation, and introduced the faculty strength, program offerings, discipline development, research platforms, and university-industry cooperation of our institute.

Jingfeng Wang expressed gratitude for the support received from our institute during this exchange and introduced the main purpose of their visit, which was to research and promote distinctive practices and advanced experiences for the high-quality development of the college.

Both sides had in-depth discussions on topics such as discipline development, platform construction, scientific research, professional development, talent cultivation, laboratory management, and university-industry cooperation. They expressed their commitment to using this exchange visit as an opportunity to learn from and inspire each other, complement each other's strengths and weaknesses, deepen collaboration, and jointly advance various initiatives to a new level.
